Customer Referral Information
What’s in it for you?
We will pay a Customer Referral Bonus to any active employee who refers a customer contact name (with contact info) leading to a new business sale within one (1) year of submission. The bonus will be contingent on meeting the conditions listed below.
Bonus
- $500 per truck up to a maximum of $5,000 per new customer or new customer site, paid after start-up and a signed contract
Required Information
The customer referral form must include all the following:
- Company Name
- Contact Name
- Contact Email
- Contact Phone Number
- The referring employee MUST submit the customer referral to www.lazerlogistics.com/referral
DO NOT SEND any referrals directly to any member of the sales team.
Only referrals submitted to www.lazerlogistics.com/referral are eligible
Optional: Additional information about the potential customer is very helpful (e.g. incumbent, # of trucks, etc.)

FAQs
Can I use one form for multiple referrals?
- No. Each customer referral must have its own form.
- One customer and customer site per form.
Who can participate?
- All non-commercial employees can participate.
What qualifies as a new customer?
- A new customer is not currently being serviced or in discussion/negotiation with Lazer Logistics.
What qualifies as a new customer site?
- A new customer site is a site that we do not currently serve (and we are not in discussion/negotiation), even if the parent customer is already active and established. The bonus will only be awarded to the submitted site.
How long is my entry eligible for consideration if accepted?
- One (1) year from submission.
What are the requirements for submission?
- The referring employee must be an active employee.
- The new customer and/or customer site must meet the above definition.
- The customer contact name, email, and number must be valid.
- The referral must be made through the online referral form at www.lazerlogistics.com/referral.
How much will I get paid?
- $500 per truck up to a maximum of $5,000 per new customer or new customer site, paid after start-up and a signed contract.
What if more than one employee submits the same information?
- Only the first active employee to refer a particular customer will be paid the Customer Referral Bonus based on a completed online referral by email date and time submission to www.lazerlogistics.com/referral.
What do I do if I mistakenly submitted my referral through email to remain eligible for payment?
- If you submitted a referral through email, you will be given one (1) week to submit your referral through the online form. If you fail to submit the referral within one (1) week of any email sent, you will be ineligible for any referral credit.
What happens after I submit my referral?
- Upon receiving the form, a sales team member will check to see if we already have the information in Salesforce.
- If the company name and/or contact is already in the Salesforce database and active, the referral will not be eligible and rejected
- The referral will be eligible and accepted for review if the company name and/or contact do not exist in the Salesforce database.
- You will be notified within 30 days whether the referral is rejected or accepted.
If my referral is accepted, when do I get paid?
- If your referral is accepted, your lead will be assigned to a sales team member to begin working on the opportunity.
- The referral bonus is paid only on qualified leads that convert to new business after the start-up process and a signed contract.
- Payment will be distributed within 30 days of the start-up process and the signed contract.
How will I know if my accepted referral led to new business?
- You will be contacted via email.
I submitted my referral to a sales manager, which led to new business. Why didn’t I get a referral bonus?
- All referrals must be sent to www.lazerlogistics.com/referral.
- Any referral sent directly to sales or another contact will not be eligible.
- Only referrals registered in the referral database through www.lazerlogistics.com/referral are eligible for a bonus.
What happens if I submit my referral before the program’s re-launch?
- All referrals will be resolved appropriately and consistent with the terms of the re-launched program.
- In any disputes, the Chief Commercial Officer will make all final decisions.
